Agent Dever reached the rooftop of the building and pointed the gun towards the running man. "Freeze!" he shouted. Randy White stopped but only to shot twice in his direction and missing him completely in the heavy rain.
Dever responded to the fire and hit White on the arm, leaving Randy's gun and blood on the wet ground.
Cursing himself, the man turned around and began running again, while the light from a police helicopter was cast on him...
